What Kate Wore:

If you have read our about us section, you will know that I spent a few of years out west. That time made me a true fan of western style, especially classic pearl snap shirts. This classic look is perfect if you want to “dress up”. I’ve seen men wear them with their best pair of jeans and boots to weddings! (I will post more about western weddings soon because they rock!)

As much as I have an appreciation for and dig wearing my western wear while I’m visiting my once home for two years, I may get funny looks decked out in my boots, Wranglers, pearl snaps, and cowboy hat in downtown Columbus. I decided to take a new spin on my western shirt and pair it with purple jeans and my trusty thrifted boots!

Last week in Virginia we had a brief moment of spring just before another snow storm decided to make its way through the area. With a high temp of 70, it was almost too good to be true! Like many people that day, I made the most out of it by spending a good portion of it outside. Not having to wear a sweater or a pair of socks was the highlight of my week. Seriously.
